Student Empowerment: Teaching students how to “Jump into Action” and safely assist peers in distress.

A key component of their approach is the use of “Circle,” a practice that fosters human connection and community-building by bringing people together in a secure environment to share stories, perspectives, and emotions. This method aims to develop the 5 Core Human Skills identified in social and emotional learning, such as managing emotions, problem-solving, and creating positive relationships.
