Atlas Spinal Care is looking for a long-term associate chiropractor to join our upper cervical practice, serving patients from the Vancouver, WA and Portland, OR area.

This is an ASAP start, full-time role (part-time considered for the right person), with the goal of finding someone who wants to build a lasting career with us — we’re looking for a 3+ year commitment, not a stepping stone.

Who We Are

Atlas Spinal Care was built to be the practice our founding doctor needed when she was in the worst stage of her own health. We specialize in Atlas Orthogonal, a precise, low-force upper cervical technique, and we care for patients who have already tried other treatments and other practitioners without getting the results they hoped for. They come to us at the end of their rope, and we take the time to truly listen, understand, and build a plan that finally works for them.

Our approach goes beyond the adjustment. We incorporate lifestyle coaching, diet and nutrition guidance, supplementation, exercise and rehab, cold laser therapy (LLLT), and instrument-based adjusting. Because of our technique and philosophy, roughly 95% of our patient care does not involve traditional manual adjustment — a model we believe protects our doctors’ long-term career longevity as much as it protects our patients.

You’ll be joining a well-supported team: 3 clinical assistants (rooming patients, x-rays, scribing, exercise/rehab) and 3 front desk team members (check-in/check-out, scheduling, insurance verification), working alongside our current doctor and one other associate.

What We’re Looking For

No prior experience with Atlas Orthogonal is required — what matters most to us is a genuine passion for upper cervical care and a hunger to learn. Experience with Activator protocol is a plus but not necessary; we’ll train you either way.

We welcome a wide range of candidates:

  • New graduates fresh out of school
  • Students seeking a preceptorship that could lead to an associate position
  • More experienced doctors — especially those who know they don’t want to run their own practice
  • Doctors transitioning from a different technique or a full-spine background, as long as they’re coachable and excited to learn something new
  • Above all, we’re looking for someone warm, collaborative, inquisitive, and always striving to improve.

Training & Development

You’ll receive extensive in-office training directly from our lead doctor, covering exams, patient communication, report of findings, soft tissue work, rehabilitation exercises, and LLLT. You’ll also receive Atlas Orthogonal (or adjacent upper cervical technique) training, plus online Activator methods training.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary in the $70,000–$80,000 range, plus a bonus structure based on a percentage of office collections or profit sharing
  • Health insurance
  • 401(k)
  • Paid holidays
  • Vacation / paid time off
  • Continuing education expenses covered
  • Malpractice insurance covered
