SALARY: $15.56 per hour
REPORTS TO: Athletics Director
HOURS: Up to 10 hours per week
JOB FUNCTION:
Oversee operation of equipment room facilities, including outfitting all athletes and coaches involved in Life West Athletics, maintaining and storing equipment, and supervising all college owned equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Dispense and receive athletic and recreational equipment.
Provide students and coaches with athletic equipment and clothing as required.
Launder men’s and women’s athletic clothing as required.
Assign, maintain records, and make minor repairs on lockers.
Prepare teams for travel and make arrangements for supplies for visiting teams as needed.
Provide routine maintenance of athletic equipment, including repair, replacement, cleaning, oiling, and sewing; and for minor maintenance on laundry equipment.
Travel with selected athletic teams as deemed appropriate.
Perform related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Understanding and experience in elite and recreational sport
Knowledge of all types of athletic equipment and its proper use.
Supervisory ability.
