President’s Office
HOURS: Up to 10 hours weekly
WAGE: $15.56 – $20/hour
LifeWest is looking for a student who is interested in working on policy issues that
impact chiropractic education and practice, and support the President’s Office on a
variety of projects. The student will support the President on projects that advance
chiropractic through marketing and research, and will build relationships with
community organizations and government leaders in support of these aims.
JOB OUTLINE:
Policy research based on priorities set by the President
Develop marketing strategies to advance chiropractic at the local, state and
national level
Build relationships with industry, government and community leaders
Ancillary work as needed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicant must have a Federal Work Study Award large enough to cover the
hours required and earnings
Must have experience in research, marketing and advocacy
Must be dependable (willing/able to commit to and work assigned schedule)
Must have excellent project management skills
Must be able to build effective presentation decks
Must be an organized, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator
